聖誕將至,在此向大家推介一首聖誕詩歌 - We are the Reason.
第一次接觸這首歌,是因為教會去年的報佳音(但我是無份去報的 ;-p),當中有首歌叫 "是因為愛",其實就是We are the Reason的中文版. 去年就已經想跟大家介紹,但在youtube 找不到,今年卻找到很多版本.
詩歌開首是這樣寫的:
童年時總期待著聖誕節的早上 -- 因為期待著收禮物.很有共鳴是不是?
詩歌繼續說: 我們並沒有想到,神已經為我們準備了最好的禮物, 就是祂的獨生子
詩歌的歌詞很感動我,它提醒我們,耶穌為了愛我們而來到世上,受苦,釘死,為我們付出了祂的所有(連命也不要了,不是所有是什麼?) He gave all He could give, To show us the reason to live.
主為了愛你而死,你有沒有為祂而活?
